The Launceston and District Agricultural known in earlier days as the Launceston Horse Show now takes place at Kennards House near Launceston. This highly regarded annual show is a colourful mix of agriculture, crafts, local produce, displays and stands.
The Looe Carnival is the highlight of the Looe Lions' event calandar with a week of events that cater for the interests of all ages and interests. All the events are entertaining for you and your family and give you the opportunity to support the Looe Lions charities and other local charitable organisations in their good works.
With its origins in a local sailing regatta dating back at least far as 1837 the Week has evolved into not only a major sailing competition in the SW but also an opportunity for sailors and landlubbers to enjoy the many daytime and evening attractions in the town.
A traditional agricultural show for the local community and visitors alike. There’s plenty for you and your family to do, for instance, dog shows, vintage vehicle collections, displays of cattle, sheep and horses, sheep shearing displays, a heavy horse show and much more.
Bude Carnival dates from 1920 when it was held on Thursday, 2nd December. Events included a Grand Torch-Light Procession, a Grand Masked Confetti Fete, Hourly Concerts by four Jolly Sailor Men and an Exhibition of War Trophies
A fun filled day out for all the family in North Cornwall. Entertainment all day long including gymnastics, falconry, motorcycle stunts, Jive dancing, children’s sports, parade of horses and hounds, and horse jumping.
